Eagle Forum Oklahoma Awaiting review of version 4

We agree with the intent of the bill to preclude AI systems from being granted personhood. However, we have some questions: Corporations, partnerships, etc. are often defined as persons for legal purposes under Oklahoma Law. HB3546 denies the granting of personhood to inanimate objects. Therefore, the questions must be asked: Are corporations inanimate objects under Oklahoma law? HB3546 precludes "environmental elements" from being granted the status of personhood. What is an "environmental element"? Is the term intended to describe a pure substance of atoms with the same number of protons, or something else?

Ladies for Liberty Oklahoma

Affirms that AI systems and algorithms may not be granted legal personhood under the Constitution or laws of Oklahoma.
