"In 1923, insulin co-inventors Frederick Banting, Charles Best, and James Collip sold the patent for insulin to the University of Toronto for just$1 each. They believed that a life-saving medication should be accessible to all and famously stated that insulin belonged to the world, not to them." How did we lose sight of this and turn life saving insulin into a profiteering scam? This bill is a step in the right direction. No one should be forced to lower their insulin dosages because they can't afford this life saving medication.
